What causes hallux valgus or bunion deformity?
This is one of the questions that no one knows the answer to yet. You may develop hallux valgus or bunion due to the placement of your big toe in inappropriate shoes, or even due to other foot complications such as flat feet that cause other changes in the shape of your foot. In any case, this condition can cause deformity and long-term nerve damage to the big toe and even the sole of your foot.
But what are the features of a hallux valgus splint?
Splints are aids that help to properly shape different parts of the body. For example, when your big toe is crooked and deviates outward, you can use a hallux valgus splint to shape it in the correct direction.
This product uses an aluminum splint to pull the big toe inward and place it in the correct direction. It also uses delicate breathable fabrics that are comfortable to wear in shoes. So, treat your big toe easily with a simple stretch splint. In the early stages of the disease, if used correctly and continuously, it can prevent the deviation of the big toe joint, but in cases where the disease has progressed, it relieves pain and prevents the progression of the disease and has no corrective effect. It also prevents excessive growth and crookedness of the big toe bone in cases where it has been prescribed after thumb surgery.
Usually, people with flat feet often experience deviation of the big toe, so using a medical insole is recommended to prevent the development and progression of this deviation.
